Dry Cleaning.
Taking your clothes to the dry cleaners is the best idea for those looking to clean items that are structured (like sport coats) and/or made of wool or leather. It's best to limit the number of times you take woolen items in to be dry cleaned. The chemicals used to dry clean strips the lanolin from the wool which causes the woolen fibers to break down over time. If you are taking your dress shirts to the dry cleaners, know that they are simply washing them in a commercial washing machine and then pressing them. This is an alternative for those who do not have time to wash their clothes at home, however, be careful because yaour shirts will be placed in a dryer which is hard on cotton and will shorten the life of your shirts, break buttons, and cause the shirts to shrink.
